Denison The Denison Daily News Saturday, June 28, 1879 pg. 8 Sammy Aynes, the son of David Aynes, aged about 12 years, died Saturday evening about 9 o'clock. Sammy had been afflicted for the past 7 years with a stone in the bladder. He was a boy of unusual intelligence, and one of the best boys that attended the public school. He bore his affliction with great fortitude, calmly resigned to his fate. The funeral services will take place to-day at 4 o'clock from the residence of Mr. Aynes on West Main street. Drs. Feild and Acheson performed an operation on the boy after death, removing a stone the size of a hickory nut. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
