Denison The Denison Press Monday, November 11, 1940 pg. 1 Leonard E. Hendry, 59, who made his home at 404 W. Murray, died Sunday night shortly after 8 o'clock at his home following an illness of one year. Funeral services will be conducted from the Denison Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Leland Aiton officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood, Denison Funeral Home Directing. Mr. Hendry was born September 2, 1881 in Attowa County, Kansas, his parents being Mr. and Mrs. A. Hendry. He was married in Fannin county August 4, 1901 to Miss Emma Middleton. He was a carpenter by trade, and a member of the WOW lodge and had resided in Denison for 40 years. Surviving are his widow; three brothers, Ray of Greenville, Ammie of Chicago, and Stanley of Sherman. Sisters are Mrs. R.E. Bell of Durant and Mrs. McGinio of Chicago. A niece surviving is Mrs. Hardy Chapmen and an uncle, Henry C. Vansickle of Sherman The Denison Press Wednesday, November 13, 1940 pg. 1 Funeral services for Leonard E. Hendry were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from the Denison Funeral Home with burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Waldron, J.D. Hood, David Neighbours, J.W.
