Denison The Denison Press Monday, August 7, 1939 pg. 1 TRANSIENT OF BRYSON DIES IN MKT YARDS Claud Lee Foster, 53, of Bryson, Texas, enroute from McAlester, Oklahoma to Fort Worth, died late Saturday afternoon in the MKT yards here from a stomach ailment for which he had been treated at McAlester a short time before. Foster, accompanied by a Negro, Bert Lawrence, was seen in the yards by Carman C.E. Easley, who attempted to render aid. Foster died about ten minutes after Easley fanned him to ease his pain. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today from Short-Murray chapel, Rev. J.F. Murrell officiating. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery, Short-Murray directing. Surviving are two brothers, J.J. of Alede, Texas and G.M. Foster of Bryson, Texas; and one sister, Mrs. W.P. Morton of Fort Worth. Justice E.A. Wright, called to the scene, said Foster died of natural causes. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
