 Denison  The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, December 23, 1894 pg. 4 OBITUARY Mr. Berte Clarke, aged twenty-two years, died at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning of consumption, after only a few months' illness. Mr. Clarke was a single man, a son of our fellow citizen and old friend, S.C. Clarke. The funeral took place Thursday evening from the residence of Mr. R.L. Beck, 513 West Munson street, and a large number of friends followed the remains to its last resting place, Oakwood Cemetery. LOCAL CONDENSATIONS Thursday, December 20 The remains of Bert Clarke, the young man who died yesterday, were interred this evening in Oakwood Cemetery.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
