Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Chumbley, 62, were conducted Friday from Bratcher chapel with Rev. G.C. Burnett officiating. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery with Bratcher conducting.
Mrs. Chumbley died Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. at her home address, 109-1/2 Main, where she had resided for the past 30 years. She had been in bad health for the past several months.
Born April 26, 1897 at Sherman, Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hadley, she was married November 1943 to George Chumbley. Before coming to Denison, she made her home at Bells. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and is survived by her husband.
