Mrs. Josephine Louise Carver Dead
The death of Mrs. Frank B. Carver Sunday created profound and genuine sorrow throughout the entire community.  No one anticipated such an unhappy termination of her sickness.  She had been ill only about ten days and the attending physician was hopeful that the crisis of the disease had passed.
Everybody who knew Mrs. Carver loved her.  The attachments which she created were lasting.  During all the time that Mrs. Carver has resided here the circle of her friends has been enlarged.  Her nature was peculiarly a loveable one.  The deceased was a brilliant and cultured lady and was at one period engaged in newspaper work in New York City.  She was also court stenographer.
She is the daughter of Mrs. A.R. Carnes, a resident of New York City.  At the time of her death, she was only 25 years of age.  She leaves a little son, Frank Jr., who is three years of age.  To the great consolation of the daughter, the mother was with her and it was not so hard to die.  No person ever received more affectionate attention from husband, mother and friends, but the sad blow could not be averted.
The funeral service of Mrs. Carver took place Tuesday afternoon from the family residence, No. 918 West Morton street.  There was a large turnout of sympathizing friends and neighbors, and on the bier and grave were laid many beautiful floral tributes.  The interment was at Oakwood Cemetery.
