Denison The Denison Press Tuesday, February 12, 1935 pg. 1 HENRY CAMPBELL, FORMER KATY MAN, SUCCUMBS Henry Whiting Campbell, 74, former Katy shop worker and for the past twelve years a farmer residing east of Denison, died at 11 p.m. Monday at a local hospital of pneumonia. Mr. Campbell, who had been ill five days, had been in the hospital two days. He was born November 7, 1860, at Marion, Virginia, the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Campbell, and received his schooling there. He married Miss Sarah Bentley at Tioga, Texas, August 31, 1902. He was a Katy employee for fourteen years prior to his becoming engaged in farming in 1923. Mr. Campbell was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are the widow; and three sisters, Mrs. E.A. Borne, of Houston; Mrs. K.C. Brown of Dallas, and Mrs. L.C. Ewing of Denison. Funeral services were to be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Short-Murray Chapel, Rev. L.R. Lamb officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
