Evelyn Hope Cravens
1923 - 2014

Evelyn Cravens died at the age of 91 at her home with her family by her side.
She had worked as the night manager at Watson Drive In, on Main St. in Denison, Texas many years.  She was a member of Truth Tabernacle Church in Denison.
She is survived by 2 daughters and one son; a brother; 16 grandchildren, 25 great grands, 13 great great grands; many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Burton Cravens; and second husband, Francis Lynn Mathis; and a granddaughter, Tonya Martin.
Burial was on Friday, May 23, 2014. American Funeral Service was in charge of services. Interment was in Oakridge Cemetery.

Sheila Cravens, 5-months-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Cravens, 915 W. Collins, died in a local hospital Sunday at 11 a.m. after 2 weeks of illness.  She had been in the hospital one week.
The child was born at Perrin hospital, August 27, 1956.  She is survived by her parents; her grandmothers, Mrs. Tom Lashley and Mrs. Albert Cravens of Denison; a brother, James Bedford Cravens of Denison; and 3 sisters, Mrs. J.D. Conner, Miss Peggy Jean Cravens, and Judy Louise Cravens, all of Denison.
