The Herald Democrat December 13, 2011 DENISON - Mary Emily Ponder, 89, passed away, Sunday, December 11, 2011, at her home in Denison. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at Oakridge Cemetery in Denison. Rev. Bill Brown officiated. Burial followed at Oakridge Cemetery. Mrs. Ponder was born January 25, 1922, in Denison, the daughter of William C. Davault and Margaret E. Brister Davault. She was a member of Harless Methodist Church in Denison; a graduate of Denison High School; worked for Denison Cotton Mill for years and worked for Diaper Jeans for 20 years. She married Clarence Ponder on October 16, 1943, and he preceded her in death on October 6, 2002. She is survived by son, Mike Ponder of Denison; daughter, Evaun Bulman of Moore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jason D. Bulman, Cassie R. Bulman, Kevin Bulman; and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements were entrusted to Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison.
