  The Herald Democrat November 17, 2013 DENISON - Jesse Earl Noel Jr., 77, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 at his home in Denison. Mr. Noel was born March 26, 1936 in the cotton mill district of Denison, Texas, the son of Jesse Sr. and Juanita Williams Noel. He served his country proudly through 15 years of service in the U.S. Navy and 16 years in the Army Reserve. Jesse married the love of his life, Gwyn Williams in Denison, Texas. After his service in the military, Jesse worked for 10 years as the assistant manager of the EZ Mart. The highlight of Mr. Noel's life was found in his family. His children and grandchildren held a special place in his heart and he will be deeply missed by everyone of them. Mr. Noel is survived by his loving family, wife, Gwyn Noel; son, Noah Gibson and wife, Bobbie; two daughters, Brenda Souther and husband, Vernon; and Debbie Brooks and husband, James; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters. Graveside services for Mr. Noel were held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 18 at Oakridge Cemetery in Denison. Services were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, 604 W. Main St., Denison.
