DENISON - Charles (Charlie) Brown Waldrep, Sr, 81, entered into eternal life Friday, January 21, 2011 in Sherman.
Mr. Waldrep was born September 7, 1929 in Forsyth, Georgia, the son of Charles and Thelma (Brown) Waldrep.  Charlie married the love of his life, Clara Lancaster.  He was a retired Master Sergeant from the National Guard and also retired from the U. S. Postal Inspection Service in 1984.  Charlie loved his family and enjoyed attending ballgames of all the kids.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.  He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Mr. Waldrep is survived by his beloved family: wife of 61 years, Clara Waldrep of Denison; sons, Luther Waldrep and wife, Becky, of Flower Mound; and Chuck Waldrep of Austin; daughter, Wanda Cuthbertson and husband, Pat, of Denison; grandchildren, Mike Cuthbertson and Tanci of Sherman; Mark Cuthbertson and wife, Melissa, of Van Alstyne; Angie Henderson and husband, Terry, of Tyler; Chaney Cody and husband, Dustin, of Austin; Gabe Waldrep and fiance, Theresia, of Euless;  Chris Clothier and Michelle of Germantown, Tennessee; Kent Clothier and wife, Seema, of Del Ray Beach, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Oakridge Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Garrett officiating. Interment followed in Oakridge Cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Epilepsy Foundation, 2630 Fountainview Drive, No. 210, Houston, TX 77057-7629.
Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 W. Main in Denison.

Denison – Clara Lucille Waldrep, 79, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Crawford Street Place in Denison.
Mrs. Waldrep was born May 15, 1932 in Plainfield, Georgia, the daughter of John and Mary (Giddens) Lancaster.  She had a great love for basketball and had legendary career at Eastman High School.  Her senior year she won the most outstanding player award.  Clara married the love of her life, Charles Waldrep Sr., November 23, 1949 in Griffin, Georgia.  She worked for many years in insurance as an office manager.  Clara loved the Lord and was a member of Oakridge Baptist Church.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Waldrep is survived by her loving family: sons, Luther Waldrep and wife, Becky, of Flower Mound, Texas; and Chuck Waldrep of Austin, Texas; daughter, Wanda Cuthbertson and husband, Pat, of Denison, Texas; grandchildren, Mike Cuthbertson and wife, Tanci, of Sherman, Texas; Mark Cuthbertson and wife, Melissa, of Van Alstyne, Texas; Angie Henderson and husband, Terry, of Tyler, Texas; Chaney Cody and husband, Dustin, of Austin; Gabe Waldrep and fiance, Theresia, of Euless, Texas; Chris Clothier and wife, Michelle, of Germantown, Tennessee; and Kent Clothier and wife, Seema, of Del Ray Beach, Florida; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents; and beloved husband of 61 years, Charles Waldrep Sr.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Oakridge Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Garret officiating. Interment followed in Oakridge Cemetery. 
The family would like to give a special thanks to Crawford Street staff and residents for the love and care shown to their beloved mother, Clara.
