   Lyle David Swink, Sr. 15 December 1944 - 20 August 2008 US Army Vietnam  Lewis Edward Swink 8 October 1949 - 9 February 2009  The Herald Democrat February 12-13, 2009 DENISON - Lewis Edward Swink Sr., age 59, went to his heavenly home Monday, February 9, 2009 at Medical Center of McKinney. Mr. Swink was born October8, 1949 in Denison, the son of Edward Lyle and Thelma (Sweet) Swink. Lewis married the love of his life, Sue Wagoner, on July 7, 1976 in Denison. He lived 26 years in California, where he owned and operated a carpet cleaning business. Lewis moved back to Denison seven years ago. He loved the Lord and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Lewis was a loving husband, father and brother. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Mr. Swink is survived by his loving family: wife of 32 years, Sue Swink, of Denison; daughters, Tanya Dyer and husband, Scott, of Plano; and Laura Whitaker and husband, Ryan, of Denton; son, Lewis Swink Jr., of Denison; one grandson, on the way; sister, Louise Jones, of Denison; brother, Lonnie Swink and wife, Louise, of Denison; mother-in-law, Ollie Tabor, of Denison; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lyle "David" Swink. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2009 at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Interment followed at Oakridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ryan Whitaker, Scott Dyer, Lewis Swink Jr., Joe Andrews, John Digby and Robert Linder. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, located at 604 W. Main, Denison.
