Alfred Sinor Dies; Burial Held Today ]

Alfred Sinor, 48, former owner of grocery stores at Achille, Hendrix, Carpenters Bluff, and Denison, died at his home 1710 Woodlawn Boulevard, at 11:45 p.m., Saturday, after an illness of two years.
Mr. Sinor owned stores in Achille and Hendrix for seven years before transferring his interests to Carpenters Bluff, where he was in business eight years. In 1938 he opened a grocery business in Denison at 630 West Coffin, later moving it to 613 West Coffin. He had recently retired because of ill health.
Son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Sinor, Mr. Sinor was born near Leonard on March 5, 1898. He was educated at Kemp, Oklahoma, and married Miss Cora Dodson on December 22, 1918. He was a member of the Sunnyside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow; one son, Alfred Sinor Jr. of Denison; 3 daughters, Mrs. R.C. Holland, Miss Artie Lee Sinor, and Miss Bettie Lou Sinor, all of Denison; 3 brothers, T.B. Sinor of Kemp, Oklahoma; Ed Sinor of Pryor, Oklahoma; and G.R. Sinor of Denison; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Fuller of Hendrix, Oklahoma; and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Sunnyside Baptist Church, with Rev. Milton Kresse, pastor, officiating. Burial was at Oakridge Cemetery with Bratcher-Moore Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Alfred Sinor Dies Here Sunday
Mrs. Cora Belle Sinor, 1710 Woodlawn Blvd., a resident of Denison for the past 9 years, died at a local hospital at 2:05 a.m., Sunday, after an illness of four months.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Dodson, born in Collin County.  She was married on December 22, 1918, to the late A. Sinor in Kemp, Oklahoma. Before moving to Denison, she lived in Carpenters Bluff. Her husband died two months ago.
Mrs. Sinor was a member of the Sunnyside Baptist Church and the Woodman Circle.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. G.B. Dodson of Pampa; one son, Alfred Sinor, Jr. of Denison; 3 daughters, Mrs. R.C. Holland, Miss Artie Lee Sinor, and Miss Bettie Lou Sinor, all of Denison; 2 brothers, W.N. Dodson of Kentwood, Louisiana; and J.C. Dodson of Duncan, Oklahoma; one half-brother, Walter Preston of Yarnaby, Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Mrs. E. Graham of Pampa and Mrs. Tom Shindler of Denison; two half-sisters, Mrs. Ed Grace of Oklahoma and Mrs. Calvin McFerrin of Anna; and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Sunnyside Baptist Church with Rev. Milton Kresse, pastor officiating. Burial was at Oakridge Cemetery with Bratcher-Moore Funeral Home in charge.

Years before their deaths, Alfred had bought a family burial plot in the Oakridge Cemetery. His parents were the first ones buried there. His brother, Lewis Edward, is also buried there. Cora was buried between Alfred, and her brother, Bill Dodson. Bill's wife, Aleph, is buried next to him and their daughter, Mary Eveline.
