Denison - Grace Ramsey went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Methodist Hospital in Houston.
Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Bratcher Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roger Tidwell officiated. Pallbearers were Dee Peppers, Jay Stephens, Ryan Peppers, Chris Armstrong, Jarred Cotter and Josh Armstrong. Burial was at Oakridge Cemetery, Denison.
Grace was born on October 4, 1981 in Denison, the daughter of Tim and Debbie Ramsey. She was a graduate of Denison High School in 2000 and worked hard to receive her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Texas A&M Commerce in 2007. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Howe. Grace touched the heart of each and every person she met.
She is survived by her parents; sisters Glenda Adams and husband, Erick; and Cathy Sharp; nephews, Justin Reddick, Dylan Adams, Kyle Adams, and Trace Sharp; niece, Halie Sharp; grandmothers Betty Planck and Jayne Mandeville. Grace had a special friend, Jenneyne Reeves, and husband, Alton, and their children, Dusty Cotter, Jarred Cotter and Alexia Reeves.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the Methodist Hospital of Houston.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of Bratcher Funeral Home.



Timothy Wayne Ramsey, 62, of Denison, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 in his home surrounded by family and friends, due to a hard battle of liver cancer.  Graveside services were held Wednesday morning, June 17, 2020 at Oakridge Cemetery in Denison.  David Cordell officiated.  Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home.
Tim was born in Denison, Texas on October 12, 1957.  He joined the Navy in 1974 where he served 3 years.  Tim married the love of his life, Debbie Ramsey, on June 7. 1985; they just celebrated 35 years of marriage.  Tim worked for Marek Brothers for 20 years.  Then he and long-time friend  and business partner, Shawn Boren, started their own company -  T  & S Drywall in 2009 which is still standing strong.  Tim loved spending time with family and friends.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling; his favorite thing to do was loading up in the camper with his love, Debbie, and camping.
Tim is survived by his wife; brother, Eddie Ramsey and wife, Lana; sisters, Cheri Groshong and husband, Dave; Kelly Shipman and husband, Frank; daughters, Glenda Adams and husband, Erick; Cathy Sharp and husband, Kelly; Kimber Cunningham and husband, Jonathan; grandchildren: Josh Armstrong and wife, Lauren; Justin Reddick, Dylan Adams, Kyle Adams; Halie Sharp; Trace Sharp; Abbott Cunningham; Barrett Cunningham; Ava Cunningham; cousins: Wesley Sharp; Miach Franks; 2 very special nieces, Danielle Martin and Lori Roberson; and many other nieces and nephews who he loved dearly; and lots of family and friends.
Tim is preceded in death by his daughter, Grace Ramsey; parents, Edwin and Mary Ramsey; and grandparents, George and Olie Foreman.
Pallbearers were Ignacio Cisneros, David Alonso, Daniel Merino, Alex Hernandez, Jr.; Baltazar Regalado; and Alejandro Hernandez.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Cancer Center for research or Hospice Care.
