Texas – Graveside services for Mr. Joe Paul Jones, age 52, of Bonham
were held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Oakridge
Cemetery in Oakridge Community. Officiating was Rev. Johnny Martin.
Mr. Jones passed away Sunday, February 1, 2009 at Red River Regional
Hospital in Bonham. He was born on February 16, 1956 in Dallas, Texas, the son of James Henry and Wilma Lee Chesser Jones. Mr. Jones was married to Angelika Schuppel Jones on September 2, 1977 in Copenhagen, Denmark. He worked at the Sam Rayburn Memorial VA in Bonham and served in the US Army. Mr. Jones was the finance officer of the American Legion Post 283. Surviving him are his wife, Angelika Jones, of the home; sons, Jeremy Paul Jones & wife, Kharla, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Johnathan Heinz Henry Jones of Ft. Richards, Alaska; daughter, April Hensley & husband, Ryan, of Bonham; 2 grandchildren, Jakob & Joseph Hensley; brothers, James Douglas Jones & wife, Ann, of Ector; and Eddie Jones & wife, Pam, of Sherman; and sister, Brenda Embry & husband, Mike, of Hendrix, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Alton Carl Jones, Billy Eugene Jones and David Glen Jones.
