Timothy Lawson Gaither 6 November 1964 - 25 October 2015 The Herald Democrat October 30, 2015 Timothy Lawson Gaither, 50, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at his residence in Denison. Graveside memorial service were at noon Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Oakridge cemetery with Rev. Bill Brown officiating. Tim was born on November 6, 1964 in Van Nuys, California, the son of Jerry Lee Gaither and Amy Lou Terrell. He graduated from Sam Benito High School in San Benito, Texas. Tim and Barbara Bramblett were married on June 1, 2000 in Denison, Texas. Tim was an auto mechanic for many years. He was of the Southern Baptist faith and a loving son, father, brother, and uncle. He was also a loving husband to Barbara Gaither, his wife of 15 years. Tim had a passion for fixing cars, enjoyed his music and his hobby of building model cars which was a lifelong hobby. He also had the best offbeat humor that would put a smile on your face and was as kind hearted person to come across. Tim is survived by his wife, Barbara Gaither; parents, his father, Jerry Lee Gaither; Bob and Amy Willis; son, Thomas Gaither; stepson, Jeff Franklin; daughter, Tamera Gaither; stepdaughter, Sandra Simmons and her husband, Larry; brothers, Norman Gaither and his wife, Jan; Allan Gaither, Texas; Kenneth Willis and Robbie Willis; 7 grandchildren; and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Lawson Gaither II. Arrangements were under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral home.
