Denison - Jack N. Irvin, 71, of Denison, Texas, passed away at home on November 17, 2011.  Services were conducted Saturday afternoon, December 3, 2011 by Rev. Larry Johnson at Bratcher Funeral Home.
Jack was born August 6, 1940, son of George Amos and Cora Esther Irvin in Carrollton, Georgia.  He attended high school in Georgia and college in Dallas, Texas.  He was a business owner from 1980 - 1987 of Irvin & Sons, Inc., a paint and drywall company.  He married Ada Marie Bohanan August 6, 1988.
He was a construction superintendent for many years at Fox and Jacobs, Centex Homes and retired from Sumeer Homes in 2006.   His favorite hobbies were Wolf chase, trap shooting, turkey shoots, sporting clays and family genealogy.
Jack is survived by his wife, Ada Marie of 23 years; sons, Jackie Wade and wife, Linda; Daniel and wife, Susan; Kevin Goodman of the home; Roy Morris and wife, Brenda; daughter, DeeAnn Ply; brother Oliver Irvin and wife, Ki; sisters, Joann Mewbourne, Joy Crane and husband, Donnie; Anita Williams and husband, Mike; grandsons, Alexander Irvin and Nicole Hill; Taylor Ply; granddaughters,  April Bonine and husband, Gary; Ami Irvin and Scott Wells; Jessie Ply; Kasey and Tracy Ply; uncle, James Irvin; aunts, Doris Johnson; Pauline Chappell; Munzie Upner; 6 great-granddaughters and 4 great-grandsons: nephews, Brad Crane; Mike Mewbourne; Daniel Smith; Ronald Sprabary; Mike Rackley; Gene Rackley; Jimmy Rackley; nieces, Becky Webb; Faith Slusher; Michelle Parker; Melanie Flenniken; Amanda Poytner; Megan Smith; Jessica Smith; Kathryn Harris; Earlene Routh; Deborah Johnson and Cheryl Coffman; brother-in-law, Earl Sprabary and wife, Alice; sister-in-law, Betty Rackley; good friends, Johnny Foster, Wendell Boling, James Rhudy, Larry McDonald, and Travis Croft.
He was loved by one and all and will remain in our memories forever.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry and Jasper; and sister, Jerilyn Flenniken.
Arrangements were entrusted to Bratcher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas.
