Ricky Lee Shubert was called to be with his Lord and Savior on October 12, 2021. He came into this life on April 19, 1966 in Dallas, Texas, son of Benny Shubert and Sarah Turney.  He successfully owned his business, Ricky's Core in Hendrix, Oklahoma for 30 + years.
Ricky was the life of the party; he always enjoyed being surrounded with family and friends, there was rarely a dull moment when he was in the mix.  Ricky never met  a stranger and always showed love to everyone he met.  His passion in life including hunting on his deer lease in Del Rio, being the boss, watching his grandkids play around in the yard.  He enjoyed spending time with his church family while enjoying praising the Lord.
Ricky was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Turney; brother, Kenny Shubert.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Benny and Pat Shubert; his loving and caring wife, Connie Shubert; son Steven and wife, Echo; daughter, Kim Brewster and husband, Danny; son, Julian and Heather Garza; son, Joey and Stacy Garza; 15 grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Shubert, and Michael and Misty Shubert; and sister, Patricia Jacobs; cousins, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.   I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where  I am, there you may be also. (John 14: 1-3)

Funeral service was held Saturday afternoon, October 16, 2021 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel,  Interment followed in Oakridge Cemetery.  Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas. - - - Fisher Funeral Home
