  Thomas Luther Wood, 71, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 27, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center Mr. Wood was born September 10, 1945 in Bluefield, West Virginia, son of Fred and Lillian Davidson Wood. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. Thomas met and married Martha Jane Pettry. Thomas worked for many years as a glass worker at Libby Owens Ford in Sherman. Then later at B-Line in Denison. He was also an auto mechanic and carpenter. He was a loving husband, father and brother. Mr. Wood leaves behind his wife, Martha Jane Wood of Sherman, Texas; son, Kris Wood of San Francisco, California; and sister, Connie Scaccia of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Wood; parents; and sister, Gayle Neal. Graveside services were held on Tuesday afternoon, January 31, 2017 in Oakridge Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.  Steven R.
