  Janet E. Knape (Jurica) was born November 30, 1948 in LaGrange, Texas. She grew up in Alvin, Texas and later moved to the Dallas area to work for FEMA. She passed away on May 25, 2021 after a year long battle with lung cancer. Janet was an avid reader, lover of the fine arts, and a gifted artist and writer. She had a green thumb and an amazing sense of humor and brought joy to everyone she met. Janet is survived by her daughters, Tera Guidry and husb and, Mike; and Seville Olejko and husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Reagan and Ryan Guidry. A private graveside service was held Saturday, May 29, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Denison, Texas.
