The Denison Daily Herald Monday, October 22, 1906 pg.3 THE DAY AT SHERMAN Obituary William Lashley, aged 35 years, died Saturday night at his home near Carpenter's Bluff, east of the city. The decedent had been ill for some time, but the immediate cause of death was the rupture of a blood vessel in the head. The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from his late home, the remains being interred at Oak Ridge cemetery. Decedent leaves his wife and one child to mourn his death. A particular sad feature of the death is that 5 members of the family have died during the last year. Mrs. Bolen, a sister of Mr. Lashley, died a few weeks ago, and a little child of Mr. and Mrs. Lashley died a few days ago.
