Capshaw 26 June 1880 - 7 July 1960 The Denison Press Friday, July 8, 1960 pg. 6 Following his death on the day he entered the hospital, burial services for W.J. Capshaw were conducted Thursday afternoon at Bratcher Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Hodges of the East Denison Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Capshaw was born in the Dexter community June 26, 1880. He married Hattie Shannon at Egypt, Oklahoma, October 16, 1910 and moved to Denison from Tishimingo 40 years ago. He was a member of East Denison Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Bill Capshaw of Hendrix, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Bolin [sic] of Denison and Mrs. Jimmie Vickers of Lueders; 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
