  Linda Carolyon Akins 28 July 1944 - 13 May 1946  The Denison Press Friday, May 17, 1946 pg. 1 Following severe burns received when her clothing caught fire at her home, route 2, Linda Carolyn Akins, 21-months-old child of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Akins, died at the Madonna hospital Monday. All efforts to fight successfully the fatal burns were unsuccessful. Funeral services were held at Bratcher-Moore Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. John Stephens, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was at Oak Ridge. Born July 28, 1944, she is survived by her parents, two brothers, Louis Edward and Richard Mac; also her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Hood of Denison; Joseph Akins of Louisville, Mississippi; and Mrs. Maggie Richardson of Blythville, Arkansas.
