Homer C. Wilson, age 57, died of consumption at the residence of his brother-in-law, James Ligon, on Carnes St. He was well known in this city where he had resided for some years. He was a brother-in-law to Judge J.M. Wilson of Ardmore. Homer C. was an old Confederate soldier, having served in the 11th Texas, and afterward under the famous General Shelby. The remains will be interred in the family graveyard at Sandusky, Grayson county, north of Whitesboro.
