Tuesday, 6 December 2005 pg A68 SHERMAN - Funeral services for Thelma Janice Stuckey, 89, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Huff Funeral Home. Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, near Gordonville. She died Saturday, December 3, 2005 at her Sherman residence. Mrs. Stuckey was born July 24, 1916 in Van Alstyne, daughter of Oden Gentry and Ader Elmer (Morris). She married Robert Turner Stuckey on September 28, 1935 in Pottsboro. He preceded her in death. She retired from Pools MFG, Sherman after 27 years of service. She was a member of the Spring Grove Church of Christ in Whitesboro. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Elmer Lee and Dorothy Stuckey, Leonard; two daughters, Crystal Irene Stuckey and Mary Nell Stuckey, both of Sherman; one brother, O.A. Gentry of Grannis, Arkansas; five sisters, Willie Shaw of Houston, Janell Bush of Pottsboro, Glenda Logan of Joshua, Nettie Belle Putman of Howe, Loraine Smith of Smithville, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Services for Crystal Irene Stuckey, 71, were held Tuesday morning, August 21, 2012 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Mike Davis officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Crystal passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 in Sherman, Texas. She was born January 1 0, 1941, daughter of Turner and Janice Gentry Stuckey in Pottsoboro, Texas. She is survived by sister, Mary Stuckey of Whitesboro; and brother, Elmer Stuckey of Leonard, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Andy Stuckey. Pallbearers were Jeff Hamon, Jerad Stuckey, Matthew Toutounchian, Colton Baugh, Stephen Hamon, and Jeffrey Hamon.
