  Aurelian Smith, Sr. 1 August 1932 - 12 June 2010 Father of Jake "The Snake", Jeanie Grace, Jo Lynn, Richard, Mike and Robbin  Funeral Services for Aurelian "Grizzly" Smith, 77, were held Tuesday morning, June 15, 2010 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Joe Patterson officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Sandusky. He passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at The Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Amarillo. He was born on August 6, 1932 in Sandusky, Texas, son of Maurice and Grace (Payne) Smith. Grizzly was a professional wrestler and promoter for 50 years. He wrestled all over the world to legions of fans. Survivors include son, Richard Nabors and wife, Paula of Amarillo; son, Aurelian Smith, Jr. and wife, Shannon, of Oak Ridge; daughter, Robin Smith of Hammond, Louisiana; son, Mike Smith of Hammond, Louisiana; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maurine Nabors of Whitesboro. Pallbearers were Chris Nabors, Bret Nabors, Dustin Smith, Derek Smith, James Cartwright and Joe Case.
