LIEUT. LeGRANDE WOODS IS HOME FROM OVERSEAS

Lieutenant LeGrande Woods, who has just returned from overseas, was up town today shaking hands with his friends.  He is looking well and says he is feeling fine.  He was in the Argonne drive for a short time, but the armistice was signed before he got into the fight as thick as some of the others did, or as thick as he would have enjoyed going.  However, he is glad to be back in Sherman.
He says France is far behind
the United States, and the further an American gets away from home and the more people he sees,
the prouder
he is of his country and his people.  And of all the country he saw, he says Sherman is the brightest and best spot of all, the people finer, the girls prettier, the landscape more pleasing to the eye and the ozone is better.  As is well known, Lieut. Woods was a successful young attorney, and before entering the service of his county was rapidly building a fine practice in his profession here.  He will re-enter the practice of law after taking a short vacation, and while other fields have appealed to him his friends sincerely hope he may decide to locate here.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Woods of this city and his friends are glad to
welcome him home.

Lieutenant LeGrande Woods is at home from Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, Indiana, having been given an honorable discharge from service.  He was a member of Battery F, 133rd Field Artillery, and spent six months in France.  Lieutenant Woods is looking quite well and his many friends are glad to see him.  He will soon resume the practice of law in this city.
