George R. Scoggins   GEORGE RETURNS George R. Scoggin, aviation electronics technician mate third class, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther L. Scoggin of Route 1, Collinsville, returned to Norfolk, Va with Anti-Submarine Squadron 26, which spent three months in the Mediterranean aboard the aircraft carrier USS Randolph. While in the Mediterranean, the squadron flew anti-submarine defense missions for the attack air craft carriers USS Shangri-La and USS Independence. Military Veterans Susan Hawkins © 2024 |
