WASHINGTON, July 25 - [Special] - V. J. Beck was to-day appointed postmaster at Youngsport, Bell County, Texas.
Pension were granted to Texans to-day as follows: George W. Lawrence, Drury Evans, Alfred Lockhart, David Lott, Rainey Floyd, Jesse G. Low, Isaiah Ruckman, James R. Looper, James D. Biggs, John P. Jaler, Martin M. Tuitlo.  Original widows - Marnia Marshall, Sarah Flerring.
