PERSONAL MENTION
Willie Shires returned from overseas on May 29.  He is pleased to be in his native home one more time.   He brought home some relics with him.  He was denied bringing all he started with.  Before coming on ship they inspect what you have and take such as they do not wish you to bring over with you.  His description of the fighting and putting away the dead after the armistice is terrible.
Frank Godwin brought Willie Shires from Whitesboro home when he came from overseas last week.

Cliff Draper writes from France that he had been helping do garden work, getting out cabbage and tomato plants.
