George Luther Cook   ECTOR
- Graveside services for George Luther Cook, 79, who died Thursday
afternoon in a Sherman hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the
Georgetown cemetery. Mullican-Little Funeral Home of Bells will be in
charge.
Cook was born Dec. 23, 1887, in Meridian. He was married September 19, 1917, in Denison. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Cook farmed in the Pottsboro area for 50 years prior to moving to the Savoy-Ector area in 1960. He is survived by his wife of Ectos; two sons, Harold of Savoy and Clytis of Sherman; and five grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 till 8 p.m.  Military Veterans ©2014 |
