Robert E. Blanton, 17-year-old son of Mrs.
Willie Bruhin, 123 East Day is a private in the merchant marine. Before
enlisting a year ago, he was a delivery boy for Kingston's Drug Store.
Born Dec. 30, 1927, at Caddo, Blanton has lived in Denison three
years. He attended Denison High School and is a member of Calvary Baptist
Church. Brothers and sisters are Junior Brown, Allen Blanton and Kay
Ferrell.
Pvt. Blanton has been trained at San Diego, Cal.
NOTE: Robert E. Blanton's father was William Franklin Blanton. Robert's
grandparents were John E.A. Blanton and Margaret Keller and William
G. Coble. Robert's great grandparents were Rev. Benjamin F. Blanton and Sarah
L. Boone and George W. Keller and Julia E.A. Sturdivant. |
