Maryland.

October of 1949
& 1950 he is
found in the Marine
Barracks at Pearl
Harbor.
- In
1950 he was living
at the Wahiawa Naval
Radio Station,
Honolulu, Hawaii.

Bauerfeind was a member of the 1st Battalion, 1st
Marines, 1st Marine Division.
He was Killed in Action while engaged with the
enemy in Korea on October 27, 1950.
He is buried in Fairview
Cemetery in Denison.
Notice his tombstone order has a date of 1954.
His was buried in a temporary cemetery and moved
after the war.
