   Rogers Brown 25 August 1951 - 22 October 2015 DALLAS
- Rogers Brown, age 64, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October
22, 2015 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
Mr. Brown was born August 25, 1951 in Denison, Texas; the son of Henry and Rae (Brown) Powell Jr. Rogers attended and graduated from Denison High School. He served his country proudly during his time in the U.S. Navy. He leaves behind a host of family that will cherish his memory forever. Mr. Brown is survived by his loving family, 5 sons, Stephan V. Taylor Sr., Eric D. Hines, Kevin Lyday, Clayton Baker and wife, Thu Ha and Roger Grant; one and only daughter, Benita Grant; 19 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; mother, Rae Powell; 8 siblings, Jessie J. Brown and wife, Mary; Henrietta Hines, Constance L. Brown; Ronnie E. Powell Sr. and wife, Monsita; Barbara R. Powell, Dr. Hattie M. Powell; Monique C. Russell and husband, Ray; and Victoria J. Powell; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services for Mr. Brown were held Friday morning, October 30, 2015 at Magnolia Cemetery in Denison, Texas with Rev. Louis Hines officiating. A wake was held Thursday evening, October 29 at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
