DENISON --- Van Withrow, 69, formerly of Denison, died Friday, February 15, 2002, at the Bowling Green Kentucky Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Services were held Saturday afternoon in Mount Zion Baptist Church in Denison. Officiating wias Rev. K.W. King, pastor of the church, and Rev. Robert Staggers, pastor of Northside Antioch Baptist Church. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery in Denison.
Surviving are his wife, Bettye Withrow of Bowling Green, Kentucky; sons, Bobby Withrow of Converse, Texas; Wilbur Withrow of Bowling Green; and Gerald Withrow of Denison; daughters, Kaye McClendon of San Antonio and Debra Kelly of Denison; brothers, Frank Withrow of Bowling Green and William "Billy" Withrow of Louisville, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Smith Memorial Chapel in Denison has charge of arrangements.
