  Walter Jones 2 November 1924 - 18 October 2014  Walter Jones, age 89, entered into eternal life Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Beacon Hill. Mr. Jones was born November 2, 1924 in Ladonia, Texas, the son of Sandy and Archie Mae (Stone) Jones. Walter had been a hard working man all of his life. He loved helping and working with others in the community. He was a member of Iron Ore Church. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Mr. Jones leaves behind his beloved family - daughters, Rita K. Walker and Gwen Brown both of Ft. Worth, Texas; sons, Derrick Page Sr. and Ronnie Mays, both of Ft. Worth, TX; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Bennie Sue Smith of Denison, Texas; niece, Sharon Hughes and nephew, Andre Hughes; and close friends, Cleveland Dehorney, Pat and Stan Smith and a host of other friends. Walter was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Jones; father, Sandy Jones; mother, Archie Mae Skinner; sisters, Hattie Mae Roberts and Ruby Dreher. Graveside services were held Friday morning, October 24, 2014 at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Thurman Dehorney officiating.
