Thompson 4 January 1911 - 29 January 1983 The Herald Democrat April 27, 2012 Arlin Cecil Thompson, 92, passed away April 25, 2012 at Clyde Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham. Services were held Saturday monring, April 28, 2012 at United Pentecostal Church in Savoy. Bro. Virgil Cornwell officiated. . Interment followed at Macomb Cemetery in Whitesboro. Arrangements were under the direction of Dannel Funeral Home. Mr. Thompson was born on June 26, 1919 in Westminster, son of Henry B. and Ada May Hanna Thompson. He served with the United States Army in World War II. He retired from maintenance at Wilson N. Jones Hospital and was a service station owner for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, son, Cecil Franklin Thompson, brothers: Charles Thompson, Jim Thompson, Lewis Richardson, Elmer Richardson, Emmett Richardson, and sisters: Edith Thompson, Ruthie Thompson and Letha McBurnett. Surviving are a host of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
