Betty Jo passed away Monday, June 20, 2011. Betty was born December 25, 1928 in Grayson County,TX in the Town of Gunter. She was one of 9 children born to Lloyd & Arizona Francis. Betty grew up in the Sherman area. When she married, she and her family lived in several places in Texas, Colorado, Tennessee and Kansas. Most of her adult life she resided in Grand Prairie. She was a lovely person with a great sense of humor, a good friend, a caring mother and truly enjoyed life. She loved to dance and received great joy by working in her gardens and cooking.
She is preceded in death by Son, Bobby Joe Cloud Jr., Survivors: husband Loren Curlee, daughter Lynn Robbins Moorhead, son-in-law Roger, daughter Gwynn Frazier Redding, son-in-law John; Son Hubert Ray Richardson Jr "Little Ray"; daughter-in-law Linda Cloud; sister-in-law Pat Bowley; her brother, Ivan Francis and sister-in-law Bobbie. She was blessed with six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Macombs Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas. Dr. Bill Skaar with First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie, will be officiating. Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman, Texas is in charge of arrangements.
