August 6, 2010 WHITESBORO - Dolores Hall, 90-year-old Whitesboro resident, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitesboro. Dolores was born on January 20, 1920, in Wilburton, Okla. to Carl Richard Alsup and Lera Isabel Elliott. She graduated from Wetumka High School and received both a BS and ME from West Texas State University in Canyon. She taught in the Texas Public Schools for 23 years. Dolores married Gladstone Hall on August 14, 1938, and together they raised two sons. She is survived by her sons, Randall Hall and his wife, Nancy of Dallas, and Rick Hall and his wife, Vicki of Carrollton. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Michele Brantley, Kelly Beall, Russell Hall, Amber Rhoads, and Tyler Hall. In addition to her five grandchildren, she has nine great-grandchildren, Tyler, Joshua, and Ryan Brantley, Avery and Hudson Beall, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, and Joshua Hall, and Taylor Rhoads. Survivors also include two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ronald Alsup and Dale and Donna Alsup, and many nieces and nephews. Services were held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Harold Watson officiating. Interment followed in Macomb Cemetery.
