  Richard Earnest Jones, 65, entered eternal life Monday, November 5, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center. Mr. Jones was born August 15, 1953 in Dallas, Texas, son of Gus and Lorena McComb Jones. He was an excellent paint contractor. Richard enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and card playing. He loved his family and spending time with them. Mr. Jones leaves behind his family: son, Joshua Jones of Dallas; daughter, Jessica Daffin and husband, Robby, of Josephine, Texas; grandchildren, Brennley, Jasa, and Hudson Daffin, all of Josephine; mother, Lorena Jones, of Dallas; sisters, Marianne Jones and husband, Alfredo, of Allen, Texas; Kathleen Bennet of Smithville, Texas; and Nancy Jones of Dallas. Graveside services were held Saturday afternoon, November 20, 2018 at Locust Cemetery.
