 The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, December 24, 1893 pg. 4 DEATH OF WILLIAM H. WAITMAN Mr. William H. Waitman, residing at 800 West Walker street, died Tuesday after an illness of several years. Mr. Waitman moved into Denison from his old homestead, east of the city five miles, some six or seven years ago, and has been making the city his home since that time. He, with his former wife and family, came to Texas from Missouri just after the close of the war. He and his wife could not agree and a divorce was procured. Mrs. Waitman returned north and Mr. Waitman came to Denison and married again. The remains were interred Wednesday morning in the family burial lot in the graveyard near the residence of Dr. J.L. Jones. LOCAL CONDENSATIONS Wednesday, December 20 The remains of W.H. Waitman were carried out to the Dr. Jones graveyard this morning for interment.
