The Whitewright Sun
Friday, April 21, 1916 pg.3 Cole [sic], 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thrasher, who lived three and one-half miles north-west of town, died at 1 o'clock Thursday of last week from tetanus, caused by stepping on a nail first of the week. Up to an hour before his death there were no bad effects noticed from the wound, and his sudden death was a great shock to the family. Little Cole was 11 years old and indeed a very bright child. He was loved by the old and young. May God's richest blessings rest upon his dear father and mother and upon his sister, four brothers and a host of friends, who mourn his death. May we so live that when we are called we shall meet dear Cole in his heavenly home. - - - A Friend Kentuckytown Cemetery Susan Hawkins © 2024 If you find any of Grayson CountyTXGenWeb links inoperable, please send me a message. |
