BONHAM - Funeral services for Terri Ellen Hancox will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 12 at Waldo Funeral Home.


Rev. Brandon Dona will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Moore, Chad Imani, Clint Hancox, Paul Conaway, and Brandon Austin Dona. Burial will be at Kendall Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Hancox, 46, passed away, Thursday, December 8 at her home in Bonham.

Terri was born June 14, 1965 in Sherman to Donald Richard Hancox and Rhea Jane (Martin) Hancox. She worked as a caregiver in nursing homes for many years. She was a fun-loving person who enjoyed life and will be remembered for her outgoing and witty personality.
She especially enjoyed baking, cake decorating, and family.


Mrs. Hancox is survived by her mother, Rhea Hancox of Bonham; son Donald Richard Wright and wife Christen if Littlefield, Texas; daughter Rhea Kaitlyn Wright of Bonham; grandson Donald Weldon Wright of Littlefield; three sisters Carol Ann Moore of Ft. Worth, Cheryl Lynn Conaway of Sherman, and Amy Kathaleen Dona and husband Brandon of Bonham; fiancee Sammie Franklin of Bonham;
and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Richard Hancox; grandmother Frances Martin;
and nephew Jason Aaron Moore.


The family will receive friends from 4 - 5 p.m., Sunday at Waldo Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK. 73123-1718.

BONHAM - A celebration of life services for Rhea Jane Hancox, 72, will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Central Baptist Church in Bonham with Chad Imani officiating. Interment will follow at Kendall Chapel Cemetery in Southmayd. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 5 - 7 p.m., at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman.


Rhea Jane was born September 21, 1939 in Louisiana, Missouri to Frances (Davis) Martin and went to her eternal home on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from the Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Rhea was raised in Louisiana, MO. She married her childhood sweetheart, Donald Hancox, on October 29, 1955 in Louisiana. They came to Sherman in 1960 and she began working for Oscar Mayer in 1979 and was with that company for several years. After her retirement, she faithfully took care of her mother for ten years until her death. Mrs. Hancox enjoyed making candy, painting, drawing, and most of all taking care of family. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She attended the Central Baptist Church.

Rhea Jane was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Martin, husband, Donald Hancox, brother, Sonny Martin, daughter, Terri Wright Hancox, and grandson, Jason Moore.

She is survived by her daughters, Carol Ann Moore of Ft. Worth, Texas, Cheryl Conaway of Sherman, Texas, and Amy Dona and husband, Brandon of Bonham, Texas, grandsons, Clint Hancox and wife, Vangie of Pampa, Texas, and Chad Imani of Pampa, Texas, grandchildren, Sam Moore, Tisha Meyer, Paul Conaway, Don Wright, Kaitlyn Wright, Erin Dona, Austin Dona, Abigail Dona, McKinley Hancox, Brooke Hancox, and Haley Hancox, many great-grandchildren; one brother, Francis (Jeff) Martin and wife, Martha and their daughter, Susan of Nashville, TN.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Imani, Clint Hancox, Sam Moore, Paul Conaway, Don Wright, and Austin Dona.

Services are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman.

Carol Ann was born November 16, 1956 in Louisiana, Mo. to Donald and Rhea Hancox and passed from this life on Friday, March 22, 2013 in Pampa at the age of 56. Carol Ann married John George "Rocky" Moore and had two sons and a daughter. Carol Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and loving caretaker to all who knew her. She enjoyed being outdoors, enjoying nature, searching for arrowheads and interesting rocks, learning about Native American history, and soaking up the sun.

Carol Ann was preceded in death by her husband, son Jason Aaron Moore, sister Terri Hancox, and her mother.

She is survived by son, Sam Moore and wife Stephanie; daughter, Tisha Meyer and husband Chad; sisters, Cheryl Conaway and
Amy Dona; 6 grandchildren, Kaedence, Jase, Kynlee, Kambree, Drake, and Samantha; and 2 great-grandchildren.


The family will receive guests from 6 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, at Waldo Funeral Home.

Funeral Services to celebrate Carol Ann's life will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Waldo Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Kendall Chapel Cemetery, Southmayd.

Services are under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
