   Whitesboro - Funeral services for Floyd William Baggs, 89, were held Friday, July 22, 2016; interment followed at Kendall Chapel Cemetery. He passed away on Tuesday, July 19 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. He was born to Odis William Van and Minnie (Howard) Baggs December 12, 1926 in Vernon, Texas. He married Margaret Ann Hodge April 15, 1961 in Ennis, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired district manager for a shoe company in New York City. He is survived by his wife; sons, Floyd Baggs, II of Mansfield; Van Douglas Baggs of Sherman and a daughter, Julie Layne Hays of Sherman; grandchildren, Marius Ayden Hays, Nathan Baggs, Joey Baggs, Steven Baggs, Larissa Marie Baggs, Morgan Brittney Marler, Lauren Elizabeth Baggs; 1 great-granddaughter, Lilly Marler; brothers, Dan Roy Baggs of Farmers Branch and Mickey Earl Baggs of Big Sandy.
