Monday, March 20, 1911 Pg 7 Had Resided in Grayson County Over Sixty Years. Death yesterday called one of the pioneer mothers of Texas, a grand old Christian woman, Mrs. Hickman, the relict of N. N. G. Hickman, who came to the county nearly sixty years ago. She was in her 85th year. Husband and children had long ago preceded her into the great beyond. For nearly twenty years she had resided with Mr. and Mrs. I. N. Bennett near Sadler. She had been a member of the Baptist Church for more than 70 years. The burial took place at Kendall's churchyard this afternoon at 3 o'clock.
