Monday, March 5, 1917 pg. 5 Richmond V. Barrett died today at 12 o'clock at the St. Paul's Sanitarium in Dallas, having been seriously ill there since last Tuesday. The body will be shipped to this city for burial, the John C. Dannel Undertaking company having charge of the funeral arrangements. Burial will be in the Keirsey cemetery, 6 miles north of the city, tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mr. Barrett formerly lived here and is a brother of Allie Barrett, who now resides on the old Barrett homestead, near Whiterock, north of the city, and is also survived by the following brother and sisters: Will Barrett, Mrs. Earl Ford and Mrs. Bascom Watson. The body of Richmond Barrett, who died in a Dallas hospital yesterday, was shipped to this city for burial, arriving over the H. & T.C. this morning, where it was met by the John C. Dannell Undertaking company and prepared for burial. Interment was made in Keirsey cemetery, 6 miles north of Sherman, this afternoon, services being conducted at the grave. Mr. Barrett formerly lived in Sherman, and is well known here. He was the brother of Allie Barrett of Whiterock, north of Sherman, and is also survived by the following brother and sisters: Will and Loftin Barrett, and Mrs. Earl Ford and Mrs. Bascom Watson, all of Sherman.
