  Marguerite Madea Butler was born July 30, 1929 in Denison, Texas, daughter of Joe Arthur and Margie Smith Bell. She attended Anderson/Terrell schools and in 1936 she and Robert "Bonnie" Butler were married in Denison., After raising a family in Houston, Texas, they moved back to Denison where she became a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Marguerite worked as house keeping supervisor at TI and retired after many years. She later became a member and mother of the church of Alpha & Omega of Denison, pastored by Rev. James Thorne. Mrs. Butler died July 9, 2018. Mrs. Butler is survived by her daughter, Rosalind Wagner and hustand, Darnell, of Sherman; Connie Williams of Denison; Judith Steward and husband, Charlie, of Sherman; Marcia Lynn Butler of Denison; 21 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Bonnie Faye Butler; and son, Robert David Butler.
