ISOM & NANCY FIELDS Mose Isom 20 August 1879 - 2 June 1944 Mellissa Isom 22 May 1880 - 13 October 1946 Sherman Democrat June 5, 1944 Page 10 DENISON - Mose Isom, 64, resident of Grayson county 56 years, died at his home at 301 West Morton Friday at 10 p.m. after a month's illness. Funeral services will be conducted at Short-Murray chapel, with the Rev. Guy E. Perdue, pastor of the Trinity Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Isom cemetery in the Calamus community, with nephews of the deceased as pallbearers. Mr. Isom was born in Hancock county, Tenn., Aug, 20, 1879, and came to Texas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilse J. Isom, when he was eight years old, settling near Whitewright. He was married in 1904 at Bethany, east of Sherman, and engaged in farming n the Bells and Moore's Chapel community before moving to Denison four years ago. He was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors are his wife; three sons, J.C. Isom of Camp Barkeley and W.P. Isom and A.D. Isom of Denison; three daughters, Mrs. Ann Seagraves of San Antonio, Mrs. Nova Guynes of Dallas and Mrs. Wilma Rose of Hereford; three brothers, Richard Isom of Denison, John Isom of Cherry Mound, and Will Isom of Tennessee; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Roland, Mrs. Jake Rice and Mrs. Doan Rice of Bells and Mrs. Sue Fields of Colbert, Okla.
