   Kenneth Isom, 63, of Sherman, Texas, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas. Kenneth was born on November 14, 1953, son of Carl & Maudie Chapman Isom in Denison, Texas. He married Karen Head on March 3, 1978 in Denison. He was a member of Emmanual Baptist Church. Kenneth was employed by Cigna for 27 years and 13 years for the Katy Railroad. He loved all sports, especially The Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and Denison Yellow Jackets. He enjoyed playing softball and played for many years. He leaves behind a wife of 39 years, Karen, the Love of his Life, of the home, his sister, Linda McCasland of Omaha, Nebraska; 11 nieces and nephews; 23 great-nieces & nephews; 2 great-great-nieces; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother; Donald; and brother-in-law, Mike McCasland. Memorial services were held on Tuesday afternoon, February 28, 2017,at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Denison, Texas. Rev. Earl Oglesbee and Rev. Joe Vincent officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of American Funeral Service, Denison, Texas.
