  William Lonnie "Buck" Hider 1 February 1938 - 8 November 2019 Thelma Jewel Isom Hider 7 September 1930 - 22 May 2015  The Herald Democrat May 24, 2015 DENISON - Thelma Jewel Hider, 84, of Denison, Texas, passed away at Beacon Hill Nursing Home in Denison, Texas on Friday, May 22, 2015. Thelma was born on September 7, 1930 in Denison, Texas, daughter of Richard and Maggie Mae Isom. She married William "Buck" Hider on May 29, 1988 in Pottsboro, Texas. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company until retirement. She loved traveling and camping. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Denison, Texas. She is survived by her husband, William Buck Hider of their home; 2 children: Tammy Stone & Ed of San Antonio, Texas; and Ricky Gage of Wagner, Oklamona; step-daughter; Debra Hider of Denison, Texas, 2 step-sons; Lonnie Hider & Christy of Paris, Texas; and Marty Hider & Laura of Caddo, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren: Bryan Harder, Summer Andrews, Makenzie Williams; 5 great- grandchildren: Logan Swistak, Lex Pierson, Ireland Andrews, Kai Williams, Ali Williams; one step-great grandchild; 7 step-grandchildren: Will, Emily, Austin, Christopher, Youseff, Omar, Tarif; other relatives and a host of friends. Preceding her in death is her parents; brother; Carl Isom; 3 sisters: Bessie Gilley, Ollie Channon and Edna Webb. Funeral service were held Monday afternoon, May 25, 2015, at American Funeral Service Chapel, Denison, Texas. Interment was in Isom Cemetery, Grayson County. Arrangements were under the direction of American Funeral Service, Denison, Texas.  William “Buck” Hider, 81, of Denison, Texas, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 8, 2019, with his family by his side. Buck was born on February 1, 1938 in Hugo, Oklahoma, son of Tom Hider & Stella Elizabeth Lee Hider. He was a graduate of high school and attended Grayson County College. During his employment years he worked for Johns Manville & Kwick Set. He was a member of Georges Reeves Masonic Lodge of Pottsboro, Texas. Left to cherish his memories is his daughter, Debra Moses & Dale of Pottsboro, Texas; sons; Lonnie Hider & Christy of Bogota, Texas; Marty Hider & Laura of Caddo, Oklahoma; step-son; Ricky Gage of Wagoner, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Tammy Stone & Ed of San Antonio, Texas; brother; Phillip Hider, of Durant, Oklahoma; half-sisters: Gwen of Muskogee & Laverne; 7 grandchildren: Youseff Alkhatib, Omar Alkhatib, Tarif Alkhatib, Austin Alkhatib, Austin Hider, Christopher Hider, Emily Hider, William Randal Hider; step-grands: Summer Swistak, Makenzie Williams' 6 great-grandchildren: Ayden Wilson, Kaynon Hider, Zayen Hider, Gage Alkhatib, Blakelyn Alkhatib, Harper Alkhatib; step-great-grandchildren: Logan, Ali, Kia, Zoe; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Jewel Hider; and his parents. Graveside service were held Sunday afternoon, November 10, 2019, at Isom Cemetery with Chaplain Paul Jacobs officiating. Masonic Rites were held. Interment followed. Pallbearers were Youseff Alkhatib, Omar Aklhatib, Tarif Alkhatib, Austin Hider, Christopher Hider, and William Randal Hider.
